Based upon the Dutch folksong used for the 'Thanksgiving Hymn', the Variants are equally demanding of both parts. Flute part contains sections for piccolo and alto flute, with ossai included for alto flute sections. Guitar part uses some non-traditional techniques and demanding harmonic voicings. 2 scores, 8 pages each, individual parts, 4 pages each. No page turns necessary.
